Assessment

A painter starts with a blank canvas. As a human, your canvas isn’t exactly blank (no offense), so we need to determine your starting place.

This looks different for each individual, so protocol cannot be listed. The Functional Range Assessment is the main tool I will use to asses joint range of motion and control, tissue limitations, and mobility restrictions to get a baseline.

Mobility Training

This is where the magic happens, and everyone’s path looks different. After the assessment you will get some very specific and customized work, and will begin to move in ways you didn’t know you were capable of. I want you to have 100% control of your body before you start doing the sexy stuff. Once you show me me you’ve got those pre-requisites dialed, we can build…and then some.

Functional Range Condiitoning is the backbone of the mobility work here, and it is humbling work. This will include movements called CARs, PAILs/RAILs, PALs/RALs, and a lot of focus on isometric and eccentric body control.

One of my favorite quotes from the creator, Dr. Andreo Spina, is “You can’t move where you can’t move.” Let’s train those limitations so you can maximize the rest of your aspirations!

Movement Training

You’ve already been sweating and working so hard…but there’s always more in the tank! Here’s where you get to add in the weights (if you want), or the stuff that looks cool in Instagram. I beleive that teaching people how to do things safely and correctly is the foundation of any sound training program. Progression happens once there is a complete comprehension of proper technique. Options are endless, and I can help you with any of the below, and more…

General weightlifting

Bodybuilding

Olympic weightlifting

Power lifting

Gymnastics

HIIT style workouts

Cardio programs

Assisted Yoga Stretching from Thai Massage

Yeah, thats right. I will do all the work while you relax and get stretched out! This is an optional add-on, a little extra self care to balance out the hard work. There are numerous benefits that come from this ancient practice but in general it is excellent for recovery and feels great! Sixty and ninety minute sessions are available.
